When referring physicians in Alabama have a problem, the Children's Physician Relations Team has a problem.
A part of the Corporate Communications and Marketing Department, its primary focus is to serve as a liaison between referring physicians (pediatricians, family practitioners, specialists and their staffs in Alabama) and CHS / UAB specialists.
The group distributes promotional and patient care materials, schedules CME programs and participates in events such as the AAP and AAFP to promote CHS/UAB physicians, services and programs.

Laura serves as liaison to referring physicians and their office staff to expand their knowledge of CHS services, answer questions and improve overall communication and satisfaction in North Alabama. She also develops and distributes marketing, health and safety materials. Laura also schedules CME presentations to promote CHS/UAB specialists, services and programs. |
Susan Forrest, 205-939-6274
Susan provides support for Physician Relations staff. She also compiles In/Out Patient data and produces reports for Physician Relations Coordinators. Susan is responsible for maintaining physician databases and print project files.
