UAB Sports Medicine provides a comprehensive approach to the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries incurred by the active individual. We feel it is important to give the patient understanding of their injury and the knowledge necessary to recover. Our clinic offers an array of services that include on site X-ray, referral facilitation, patient consultation, pedorthic care, physical therapy, athletic training through outreach programs and community education, outpatient orthopedic surgery, and sports medicine care. In addition, we offer a 24 hour emergency call system setup to provide 24 hour services to patients that may be involved in an emergency situation after business hours.
